John Joseph Lydon, he was born 31 January 1956 in London, England. She also known as Johnny Rotten, is a British rock musician and lyricist, best known as the lead vocalist of the punk rock group Sex Pistols during the 1970s and 2000s, and also as the vocalist of post punk group Public Image Ltd in the 1980s and 1990s.JOHN LYDON has slammed late punk contemporary JOE STRUMMER as a hypocrite for preaching a socialism while living a posh lifestyle. The SEX PISTOLS icon - also known as JOHNNY ROTTEN - claims THE CLASH star Strummer used his endorsement of a concert series organised by anarchist group CLASS WAR to feed his ego.

He says, "Joe Strummer, God bless him, he's gone and he shall be missed. But how dare he preach class war with an organisation like that (the late '80s Rock Against the Rich movement).

"Living in a huge house in Holland Park (west London). Every photo opportunity to be seen on a bus in his leather jacket and then he went back to a palace. You're not getting it quite right there! That's where his image mattered more to him than the reality. He was trying to con us. In a nice way and for the right reasons but once you start lying, it carries on and on and on."

Sex Pistols : The Punk Rock Band



The Sex Pistols are an English punk rock band in London in 1975. The Sex Pistols are responsible for initiating the punk movement in the United Kingdom and inspiring many later punk and alternative rock musicians. Although her first career lasted only two-and-a-years and only four singles and one studio album "Never Mind the Bollocks, Here's the Sex Pistols, they are considered one of the most influential acts in the history of popular music.


The original Sex Pistols singer Johnny Rotten, guitarist Steve Jones, drummer Paul Cook and bassist Glen Matlock. Matlock with Sid Vicious was early in 1977. Under the guidance of impresario Malcolm McLaren, the band, the controversies which captivated Britain. Their concerts always difficulties with the organizers and the authorities and public appearances often ended in chaos. Their 1977 single "God Save the Queen", attacks on British 'social conformity and respect for the crown, like the "last and largest outbreak of pop-based moral chaos. "

In January 1978, at the end of a turbulent U.S. tour, Rotten left the band and announced their dissolution. Over the next few months, the three other band members songs for McLaren film version of the Sex Pistols' story, The Great Rock 'n' Roll Swindle. Vicious died of a heroin overdose in February 1979. In 1996, Rotten, Jones, Cook and Matlock reunited for the Filthy Lucre Tour, since 2002, they staged another reunion shows and tours. On February 24, 2006, the Sex Pistols were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, but they refused to participate in the ceremony, in which museum "a piss stain"

The Sex Pistols were an obvious choice for Guitar Hero, having established themselves as the definitive punk band of the 1970s. Unable to locate the original multi-tracks for inclusion in the game, Activision invited the band back into the studio to re-record a couple of songs including “Anarchy in the U.K.” Original members John Lydon on vocals, guitarist Steve Jones and drummer Paul Cook re-teamed with producer Chris Thomas, utilizing the original analog sound desk (circa 1969) that was built for George Martin at Air Studios, London, England in order to maintain the classic sound.
